The World Series of Poker has launched a new online platform, allowing players from Michigan to join those in Nevada and New Jersey. This is the first time WSOP has included a third state in its player pool. Announced on Saturday, this upgrade comes just in time for the summer series, featuring 30 exciting online bracelet events under the Caesars Entertainment tournament banner.

Danielle Barille, the vice president of online poker at Caesars Digital, said updating the platform was necessary and offered significant benefits for players. Barille is excited about WSOP Online tournaments now that Michigan players are joining those from Nevada and New Jersey.

This platform upgrade is long overdue and is a big win for our players

She highlighted that this merger will bring a better experience, more value, and the largest prize pools of the year. This update could also mean more growth for WSOP, as online poker is already legal in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and West Virginia.

WSOP Online launches with new features

The transformed WSOP.com is now WSOP Online, packed with new features and improvements. You can now play up to four tables simultaneously, including Omaha games, and join multi-flight re-entry tournaments. There are also fun in-app gift drops to enjoy. WSOP Online brings new game variations, exciting promotions, and weekly tournaments. Players in Nevada and New Jersey could pre-register over the weekend, with the old platform staying live until Monday.

The 55th World Series of Poker starts in Las Vegas on May 28, with a new online feature for players in Nevada, New Jersey, and Michigan. Current players should download the updated software to use the new platform and create a new username. All existing balances, tournament tickets, and reward points will transfer within 72 hours after the platform is live.

Clear your calendar from June 1 to July 21. The summer series will have official gold bracelet events three times a week—every Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday. This summer, five high-roller events will be in a hybrid format, starting on June 10 and 29, with final tables played in Las Vegas in July.
